2019 Softball Evaluations
Softball Evaluations 2019
We will hold pre evaluations next Saturday, February 23rd from 2:00 pm- 3:30 pm at 860 Baseball located at 216 Murphy Rd. in Hartford. The pre tryout will be an "open house" for minors and majors eligible girls and will consist of 90 minutes of skill practice. We ask that girls wear sneakers and bring their softball equipment with them, including fielder's masks.
Our evaluation date is set for Sunday, March 10th from 3:00 pm-5:00 pm and we will send a specific time based on player age for girls early the week of March 4th.We consider this date to be mandatory as we will use this assessment to help us rank the girls and later form teams for the season. If your daughter is majors eligible (9 years or older) and did not play majors last year and you would like her to be considered for a majors team position, please email our softball player agent Mike Criscuolo at: no later than Monday, March 4th.
If you have any questions, please do not hesistate to contact Mike or I. We look forward to seeing everyone on the fields before too long!
Prepares your kids to have their best evaluation day possible!
The kids will run through the same hitting, fielding and pitching drills they will be rated on during evaluations.
Players should bring their glove, bat & helmet (there will be some available as well).
Please, NO CLEATS - sneakers or turf shoes only.
Mandatory evaluation for AAA and Majors eligible players will be the following Sunday, March 3rd, at 860 Baseball in Hartford from 8am to Noon (your child will be given a time slot to attend next week).
If you played Majors last year, you should not attend as returning majors players are not evaluated again.
